Costas Tsourakis – Associate Conductor

Baritone and conductor Costas Tsourakis is an Associate Conductor with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, where he has led gala performances and opera scenes from Die Fledermaus, Così Fan Tutte and more.

Mr. Tsourakis has appeared with companies across the United States, Europe, and Canada, in roles such as Don Giovanni with the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar at Theater Rudolstadt, Don Magnifico (La Cenerentola) at the Festival of the Aegean in Greece, the title role in Gianni Schicchi at the Trentino Music Festival in Italy, and multiple seasons with Sarasota Opera. He has also performed major concert works, including Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Handel’s Messiah, with appearances at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland and with the Israel Philharmonic.

Mr. Tsourakis is the Artistic Director of Great Music under a Byzantine Dome and serves as the Director of Music at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City.
