In addition to her role as Administrative Director of Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, since September 2022 Michelle is the stellvertretende Leiterin des Chorbüros at Deutsche Oper Berlin, and was previously Orchestermanagerin of the Thüringer Symphoniker Saalfeld-Rudolstadt at Theater Rudolstadt.

Prior to joining Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in 2011, Michelle enjoyed a successful career in arts management and fund development in Canada, working as Director of Development with the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and prior to that as Director of Donor Services for the Victoria Foundation and Development Coordinator at Pacific Opera Victoria.

Among her many professional endeavours, Michelle also worked as a professional mezzo soprano, equally at home on both the operatic and concert stage. Her work in opera and operetta took her across Canada and to Europe in roles that included Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, the title role in Giulio Cesare, the Sorceress in Dido & Aeneas, Prince Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus and Katisha in The Mikado.
